When you book a session with me, I will probably ask about activities that your children like to do. Maybe they like hopscotch or legos or dress-up or drawing . . . And all of these make for great photographs. So we'll probably spend some time playing pirates, or hide-and-go seek or whatever else it is that makes your children smile because that's when their true emotions show through and we can get the best photographs. Also, please do your best to make sure that your children are well rested and recently fed.

Many people ask what they should wear to a session. For children's portraits I recommend choosing 2-3 outfits that you love. They can be colorful, simple or fun. But make sure they reflect your child's style and are something you won't mind looking at for years to come! For coordinating with small groups, I recommend choosing 2-3 colors and mix and match. Throw in some fun accessories and funky colors and come ready to play!
